University of Connecticut Streamlines Data Validation Process with DIG

Montreal, Canada – October 13, 2016 – Already a Blue user, the University of Connecticut (UConn) has selected the Data Integrity Gateway (DIG) to optimize their data validation process before the course evaluation period.

With over 30,000 students across six campuses, manual data validation can be a time consuming and labor intensive process for UConn. By integrating DIG directly into Blue the University will benefit from a centralized data preparation process. With automated workflows, email notifications, and a follow-up engine, DIG ensures that data is assigned to and updated by the right person. A Banner institution, UConn also benefits from DIG’s integration with their LMS. As a result, complete error-free information will be pushed directly into Blue evaluation projects saving the University time and increasing efficiency.

Founded in 1881 in Storrs, Connecticut, UConn is one of the top public research universities. The institution is a member of Universitas 21, a network of 24 research-intensive institutions working towards global citizenship. UConn ranks among the top 25 public universities in the nation on the U.S. News & World Report America’s Best Colleges (2016) and #60 in National Universities.
