University of Maine Chooses Blue to Support Course Evaluations
Montreal, Canada – November 14, 2016 – Ranked a national university on the U.S. News and World Annual Report, the University of Maine (UMaine) has selected Blue to manage their course evaluation process.
As a Blackboard Learn™ and PeopleSoft institution, UMaine will benefit from Blue’s native integration with both systems. Integration points – specifically around Blackboard – will simplify the course evaluation process for the institution by making forms more easily accessible. Students can seamlessly view and complete course evaluations without ever leaving the Blackboard Learn portal, helping increase accessibility and engagement.
Founded in 1865, UMaine is the flagship campus of the University of Maine System and is the premier public university in the state. The university joins other Blue powered institutions in the northeastern region of the United States including Bowdoin College, New England College, and the Vermont State Colleges. UMaine has an enrollment of approximately 11,000 students and offers one of the most comprehensive academic offerings in the state - 100 undergraduate and academic programs, 80 master’s programs, and 30 doctoral programs.
