University of Alaska Fairbanks Votes for Blue Course Evaluations

Institution equipped to accommodate paper and online evaluations, offer multiple access points and customize forms, questions and reports

Montreal, Canada – June 13, 2014 – University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) has selected Blue to ensure a smooth transition to online course evaluations. By providing a hybrid solution, Blue enables the university to accommodate both paper and online assessments.

After a review of 12 online evaluation vendors, Blue was chosen as it met the university’s key system requirements. With Blue, UAF can offer multiple access points to evaluations including by computer, tablet, smartphone or any web-enabled device to increase usability and response rates. The institution can now tailor questions and reports for any level including university-wide, faculty, department, instructor or course.

Established in 1917, the University of Alaska Fairbanks is renowned for its high-tech, high-latitude research in Arctic Biology, Arctic Engineering, Geophysics, Supercomputing, Aboriginal Studies and more. With seven locations across the state, UAF is the principal research center of the University of Alaska System.
