MacEwan University Chooses to Augment its Blue Leverage with Course Evaluation Automation

Montreal, Canada – April 23, 2013 – MacEwan University, a Blue customer since 2010, has decided to further leverage Blue feedback management software to fulfill a broader range of functional capabilities, including Athletics forms automation, and integrated course evaluations.

“The collection, analysis, and reporting of student feedback as a component of faculty evaluation is an important part of MacEwan University’s culture of continuous improvement. We have selected Blue/Evaluations by Explorance as our tool to facilitate this process because of the application’s security, flexibility, reporting capabilities, and the opportunity it provides to integrate with our ERP and Portal environments. Blue/Evaluations will enable us to provide a seamless experience for all the stakeholders involved in this aspect of faculty evaluation,” said John McGrath, Chief Information Officer, Grant MacEwan University.

Established in 1971, MacEwan University was named after Dr. J.W. Grant MacEwan, the former lieutenant governor of Alberta. MacEwan became an accredited degree-granting institution in 2004 and offers baccalaureate degrees in arts, child and youth care, commerce, nursing, science, communications and music. Prior to its renaming, MacEwan was the largest college in Alberta, and it remains the largest transfer institution in the province. On September 24, 2009 it became Alberta’s sixth official university.
