University of New Hampshire Enhances Course Evaluation Reporting with Blue, DIG, and BTA

Montreal, Canada – March 22, 2017 – A world-class public research institution, the University of New Hampshire (UNH) has selected Blue to manage course evaluations. In addition, the institution has selected the Data Integrity Gateway (DIG) to clean and maintain SIS data and Blue Text Analytics (BTA) to unlock new data points in unstructured student feedback.

The University of New Hampshire currently caters to 13,000+ undergraduates and 2,400+ graduates enrolled in more than 200 programs across 11 colleges and schools. With Blue, UNH can have a fully automated course evaluation process which enables easier reporting. Through Blue’s best-in-class integration with the University’s Learning Management System, Canvas, administrators can embed evaluation forms directly into the portal, helping improve accessibility and participation. A dynamic response rates dashboard will give instructors a live view of course evaluations enabling them to adjust strategy as needed. Other advanced reporting functions allow easy creation of customized reports that can be produced at any level (i.e. institution-wide or by department, course, or individual).

Additionally, with BTA in place UNH will further leverage their investment in Blue by quickly analyzing thousands of open-ended comments and converting them into meaningful themes. This will enable them to unlock new analysis points and uncover hidden insights, all of which can be used to inform strategic decision-making. UNH will use DIG to clean and maintain data in their Student Information System (SIS), PeopleSoft. Through a seamless integration, DIG will help the institution remove errors in the information used during course evaluations as well as reduce workload and eliminate manual data intervention.

Founded in 1866, the University of New Hampshire is a public institution located in the city of Durham. In the 2017 league tables UNH ranks as a top National University, a Best College for Veterans, and a Best Valued School. The University has three campuses (Durham, Manchester, and Concord) and is the largest university in the state of New Hampshire.
