Delaware State University Selects Blue as First Assessment System

Montreal, Canada – August 29, 2016 – Ranked #9 among the Historically Black Colleges and Universities in the U.S. News & World Report, Delaware State University (Del State) has selected Blue as their first all-in-one assessment solution.

Offering students a “passport to life”, Del State has broken its enrollment record for the fifth consecutive year – 4,644 students. As their first assessment solution, Blue will enable Del State to gather feedback through a variety of tools (i.e. surveys, evaluations, 360 degree feedback, etc.). With this centralization of processes, the university gains a global view of feedback that will help them identify strengths and areas for improvement.

Del State will also benefit from Blue’s best-in-class integration with their IT systems, Blackboard Learn™ and Banner by Ellucian®. This integration will allow them to leverage their legacy data and embed course evaluation forms directly into their portal. By providing easy access to forms and reports, the institution can help increase LMS traffic, faculty and student engagement, and participation.

An institution founded in 1891, Del State is located in Dover, Delaware with two satellite campuses in Wilmington and Georgetown.  The university also has over thirty formal partnerships with institutions across the globe including China, France, Egypt, UK, and more. According to the Princeton Review, Del State’s College of Business is one of the nation’s most outstanding business schools.
