University of Western Ontario Transitions Online with Blue Course Evaluations

Montreal, Canada – February 19, 2016 –The University of Western Ontario has selected Blue to migrate its course evaluation processes online. References from other Blue powered institutions in the province of Ontario was an integral part of the purchasing decision.

In keeping with the objectives of their sustainability plan, Western’s aim is to successfully transition from paper to an online course evaluation system. During the transition, Blue will accommodate the university’s hybrid (paper and online) course evaluation process. Blue was also designed to handle thousands of evaluation forms and will seamlessly integrate with the university’s IT systems allowing them to use existing data, synchronize information, and automate processes. A combination of Explorance’s on-site training and high level of customer support will ensure a hassle-free transition that will save the university time and resources.

Located in London, Ontario, Western was founded in 1878 and ranks as one of the top research higher education institutions in Canada. Western is a signatory to the Council of Ontario Universities’ Formal Declaration of Commitment to Environmental Sustainability and the Talloires Declaration— a declaration for sustainability signed by over 350 college and university presidents from 40 countries.
