University of Montana Extends Blue as its Campus-Wide Course Evaluations System

Montreal, Canada – August 12, 2020 –  The University of Montana – Missoula (UM) has selected Blue as its comprehensive course evaluation system to improve the teaching and learning experience. Along with Blue, UM will also leverage the Data Integrity Gateway (DIG) to ensure enrollment data is ready for course evaluations.

As the flagship campus of the Montana University System, UM was already using Blue to manage course evaluations for its Distance Learning program. Now Blue, along with DIG, will provide the university with a streamlined and efficient process for the preparation, execution, and report generation of course evaluations across campus. This is made possible by Blue’s best-in-class integration capabilities with their IT systems, and resulting automation. Through DIG, UM will benefit from centralized control of the data preparation process before course evaluations, enabling them to move, clean, augment, and add data at any point, so they always have the information they need.

Along with a streamlined course evaluation process, the university will also benefit from Blue’s robust reporting engine that will enable them to deliver customized reports to relevant stakeholders. With comprehensive data analysis of student feedback, decision-makers can get deeper insights to drive more significant and more relevant institutional decisions.

Established in 1893, the University of Montana – Missoula, is a public research university. The university offers a world-class education to over 15,000 students in a wide range of subjects, including the trades, liberal arts, graduate and postdoctoral study, as well as professional training.
