The Petroleum Institute Further Invests in Blue with Course Evaluations

Montreal, Canada – June 22, 2015 – The Petroleum Institute (PI) has chosen to extend its use of Blue to include course evaluations. As a user of Blue surveys since 2007, the institution has decided to expand its use of the system to enhance the overall teaching and learning experience.

As an institute dedicated to educational excellence, PI requires a flexible solution that can generate advanced reports with actionable insights. With Blue, the institute is able to provide question personalization for faculty to accommodate teaching priorities and all levels of evaluation. Looking to further enhance the reporting experience, PI is equipped to view real-time results, produce a variety of reports, and track improvement over time. Leveraging Blue’s flexibility, the institute can meet diverse stakeholder needs by tailoring reports at any level (institution-wide and by faculty, department, instructor, course, etc.).

Established in 2001 in Abu Dhabi, the Petroleum Institute (PI) is a world-class engineering institution. Home to over 2000 students and 200 faculty members, PI has quickly become a leading teaching and research institution in the Middle East. Funded by a consortium of national and international oil companies, the institute offers a variety of programs to provide the local oil and gas industry with top engineers. The institute’s mission is to ensure high quality engineering and science professionals through a continued commitment to excellence in its undergraduate and graduate programs.
