Montreal, Canada – May 13, 2019 – Explorance and Washtenaw Community College (WCC) will co-present at the IMS Global Learning Impact Leadership Institute (LILI) in San Diego, California from May 20-23rd.  As long term partners, WCC and Explorance will highlight Bluepulse’s LTI integration and how it enhances the interactions between instructors and students for better learning outcomes. We invite you to attend the presentation:

Title: Facilitating Learning and Community Using Actionable Formative Feedback

Date/Time: Tuesday May 21, 11:30am – 12:00pm

Presenters: Pete Baccile, Executive Director of CITL, Washtenaw Community College and Yeona Jang, Exec. Vice President, Explorance & Adjunct Prof., McGill University

Session description: Feedback can occur as a powerful stream of potentially useful information to improve student engagement and learning experience. But that flow is often both unidirectional and ‘unfinished.’ Without technology, it can also be a time-consuming and tiring process. This presentation describes a few case studies where a social feedback tool was used in the classroom and how ongoing feedback can help enhance the learning environment.

The Learning Impact Leadership Institute is the only annual gathering where leaders from higher education, K-12, as well as edtech providers meet to discuss the future of the digital learning ecosystem.
