University of Chicago Elects Blue to Unify their Course Evaluation Process

Montreal, Canada – August 26, 2019 – Top 10 QS World University, the University of Chicago, has selected Blue to power its course evaluation process and replace a previous home-grown solution.

“As the institution has grown, we needed to find a more robust enterprise-wide solution that could support the evolution and diversity of our overall academic community,” commented Scott Campbell, Assistant Vice President for Academic Services and University Registrar.

Blue will centralize and automate the feedback gathering process for the university, allowing for greater efficiency while at the same time delivering meaningful insights through its advanced reporting engine.

“Blue provides a robust reporting suite that will help to support the continued growth and development of our rigorous, interdisciplinary curriculum and research at the University of Chicago,” Campbell continued.

Another key deciding factor for the University of Chicago is Blue’s best-in-class integration with existing IT infrastructure. Campbell further added, “Integration with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and our learning management system is seamless.” This will allow end-users from various facets of the institution to access, customize, and manage course evaluations from within the portal, helping drive response rates as well as provide larger data sets to enable improved fact-based decisions.

R1 research institution, the University of Chicago has driven innovation across many disciplines since its founding in 1890. It counts over 90 Nobel Laureates among its faculty, researchers and alumni. Currently, the university holds numerous top 10 positions in various national and international rankings.
