Top Rated Institution Marian University Switches to Blue Course Evaluations

Montreal, Canada – February 24, 2017 – Ranked the #24 top college in the Midwest by U.S. News & World Report 2016 and #8 in Indiana for “Best Bang for Your Buck” by Washington Monthly, Marian University has chosen Blue to manage their student feedback processes.

“We are experiencing issues with our current system in accessing and analyzing data in a meaningful way. The data analytics options [in Blue] are important to us.” – Sarah B. Zahl, Ph.D., Director of Educational Assessment at Marian University.

Using Blue’s powerful reporting engine, Marian University will be able to generate a variety of report types and tailor content to different levels of the institutions. Home to over 3,000 students across six schools with 36 majors and 37 minors, the university will also benefit from Blue’s best-in-class integration with Canvas, their Learning Management System. Specific integration points embeds Blue evaluation forms directly into the Canvas portal, helping improve visibility, accessibility, and participation.

A private, non-profit Roman Catholic university, Marian University joins other Blue powered institutions in the American Midwest including Bellarmine University, Cleveland State University, Northwestern University, and the Indiana University System. The institution sits on a 200 acre campus that includes a 55-acre wetland and lowland forest.
