The University of Guelph Modernizes its Course Evaluations with Blue

Montreal, Canada – December 17, 2019 – The University of Guelph has selected Blue to automate course evaluations and for its advanced text analytics capabilities.

Previously, the University of Guelph was using a homegrown solution to manage their course evaluations. This upgrade to Blue includes a best-in-class integration with their Learning Management System Brightspace, which will help increase process efficiency. For example, now students at the university can access evaluations forms directly from their portal – a familiar environment – helping create a sense of continuity and drive participation rates.

The University of Guelph will also benefit from Blue Analytics, a powerful software powered by machine learning that can sort open-ended student comments into themes and trends. This, combined with Blue’s powerful reporting engine, can provide deeper insights and analysis in reports generated. The university will then have access to the full picture from feedback collected and, by extension, improve their decision-making process.
