Montreal, Canada – September 09, 2016 – Prescott College has selected Blue as their course evaluation solution because of its automation, integration, and analytics capabilities.
“We were manually doing faculty course evaluations by sending out links to Survey Monkey, etc., and it was not an efficient use of our time,” comments Michelle Whitman, Director of Instructional Technology and Assessment, Prescott College. “The ROI for Blue made the investment well worth it. We will be able to free up time to work on other projects instead of manually working on faculty evaluations.”
Through Blue, Prescott can automatically send centralized and personalized email notifications, invitations, and reminders during the course evaluation period. “We are excited about increasing our participation in these evaluations by tying them into our email system,” Whitman adds, remarking on Blue’s easy integration with any system or source. The College will also benefit from Blue’s native integration with their LMS, Moodle. This will allow them to embed course evaluation forms directly into their portal, increasing accessibility and engagement.
“In the last two years, we have moved from paper narrative evaluations to electronic narrative evaluations and now to Blue – which will finally give us the data analytical tools to be able to report student satisfaction with instructors and courses,” continues Whitman.
Leveraging Blue’s advanced reporting and analytics, Prescott can get the data they need when they need it. Within minutes they can produce and distribute professional branded reports that reflect the college’s teaching and learning priorities. Reports can be customized for every audience and created at any level (individual, course, department, company-wide, etc.) for deeper understanding and analysis.
