Montreal, Canada – Nov. 16, 2015 – Over 60 attendees, 24 higher education institutions, 10 countries – the Bluenotes EMEA User Conference hosted by Zayed University in Dubai on November 3rd and 4th was a huge success!
Centered on the theme ‘The Role of Assessment and Analytics in Higher Education’, experts from academia, Blue users, and eXplorance representatives offered workshops and presentations on a variety of relevant topics. The atmosphere was eclectic as attendees engaged in discussions that mattered to their institutions. “The EMEA conference really proved the power of innovation in Learning Experience Management regardless of culture, localized accreditations or practices,” observed Ian Haugh, VP Business Development at eXplorance. “Our approach has always been global and our software works in many different languages.”
Highlighted sessions included:
- ‘Assessments in Support of Teaching & Learning: The SFU Experience’ presented by Simon Fraser University.
- ‘Full Online Student Module Feedback Questionnaire: Influential Capabilities on Institutional Decision-making Processes’ presented by Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University.
Last in a series of successful Bluenotes User conferences for 2015, the EMEA was two days of action-packed sessions from some of the best and most innovative minds in higher education. This conference offered a unique forum for Blue® users to dialogue, explore, and exchange ideas. A big thank you to all attendees and participants.
