Montreal, Canada – August 22, 2016 – The City University of Hong Kong, ranked #57 in the QS World University Rankings and #7 in the Asian Universities Rankings, has switched their course evaluations and reports to Blue. The School of Continuing & Professional Education (CityU SCOPE) now joins the rest of the university in making this change.
“We were using Qualtrics before, but it did not provide good support to our course environment,” comments Jorge Graca, Assistant Computer Officer, CityU SCOPE. “Blue course evaluations provide an integration with our course and user environment while the previous survey tool did not provide something similar.”
A best-in-class integration between Blue and the university’s LMS, Canvas, means that they can leverage legacy data and embed course evaluation forms directly into their portal. Blue’s advanced reporting engine enables administrators to quickly produce reports at any level and automatically share them with the right people.
“Blue has helped our students and teachers have a single view of all the evaluations that belong to them,” adds Graca. “The level of security is well differentiated so that reports are sent to the appropriate users at the right time.”
Established in 1991, CityU SCOPE offers a wide range of programs for professional practice, retraining, and self-development. Seventeen of the school’s non-local Top-Up Degree Programs that were offered in 2014/15 have been accredited by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ).
