The University of Pennsylvania Continues with Blue Course Evaluations after Full IT Reassessment

Montreal, Canada – September 11, 2015 – The University of Pennsylvania (Penn) has chosen to further invest in Blue for the next five years to fully manage its course evaluation processes.

In light of a reassessment of IT infrastructure, Penn revisited its current systems including its student information, learning management, and course evaluation solutions. After a thorough RFP process, the institution decided to switch its SIS to Banner® by Ellucian and its LMS to Instructure’s Canvas. Reviewing all course evaluation solutions in the market, Penn decided to continue leveraging Blue as its fully integrated, accessible, and comprehensive online course evaluation system.

Established in 1740, the University of Pennsylvania was founded by Benjamin Franklin in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Today, Penn’s 12 undergraduate, graduate, and professional schools make up a diverse community of more than 20,000 students from across the United States and around the world. Ranked consistently among the top 10 universities in the nation, the university has a longstanding reputation for excellence in graduate and professional education. Penn is a member of the Ivy League, a group of eight American universities that have common interests in scholarship as well as in athletics. As a leading research university, Penn fosters innovation and discovery in alignment with its mission to improve local, national, and global communities.
