Indiana University South Bend Votes for Blue Course Evaluations

Montreal, Canada – March 12, 2015 – Indiana University South Bend (IUSB) has selected Blue as its comprehensive assessment system to manage, administer, and automate course evaluations. To meet its strategic objective of continuous improvement, IUSB will leverage Blue to improve student success, encourage program innovation, and enhance teaching excellence.

Transitioning from a legacy tool, IUSB requires a flexible system that can generate detailed reports and increase engagement. Blue will enable the institution to customize forms, questions, and reports to meet the diverse needs of units and faculty. With Blue, the university can accommodate both common, university-wide questions and specialized questions on one form to reflect all teaching priorities.

While building a culture of assessment, IUSB needs a reliable system that can produce accurate and meaningful results. Blue’s ability to show real-time response rates and produce customized reports were key features for the institution. With Blue, the university can tailor reports at any level including institution-wide and by faculty, department, instructor, course, etc. This will help IUSB implement continuous improvement to meet its teaching and learning objectives.

Indiana University South Bend is a comprehensive public institution in North Central Indiana and the third largest campus in the Indiana University system. Grounded in academic excellence, IUSB offers more than 100 degree programs to over 8,300 students. Focusing on affordable education, the university takes pride in providing students with a personalized learning environment to fulfill their potential.
