University of Ontario Institute of Technology Selects Blue to Power Surveys and Course Evaluations

Institute positioned to leverage current data, automate processes, and increase accessibility with Blue

Montreal, Canada – November 4, 2014 – The University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) has selected Blue as its comprehensive assessment system to manage, administer, and analyze surveys and course evaluations.

UOIT requires a solution that can integrate with its current systems, provide flexible reporting, and offer a hosted option. Blue’s ability to integrate with Ellucian’s Banner and Blackboard Learn™ will enable the institute to leverage their current data, automate processes, and increase accessibility. With Blue, the university can tailor reports and customize how results are displayed to meet a variety of institutional needs. Leveraging Blue’s ‘Feedback View’, UOIT can monitor real-time results and improvement through Blackboard.

Founded in 2002, the University of Ontario Institute of Technology is a public research university located in Oshawa. As Ontario’s first lap-top based university, the UOIT provides a leading-edge learning environment that combines academic knowledge, research opportunities, hands-on skills, and a vibrant student life. Home to over 9,200 undergraduate and graduate students, the institute offers programs in Business and Information Technology, Education, Energy Systems and Nuclear Science, Engineering and Applied Science, Health Sciences, and more.
