Explorance Expands Presence in Australasia with an Office in Australia

With increased market penetration in Australasia, Explorance opens a regional office to ensure local and timely support for its Learning Experience Management (LEM) solutions.

Montreal, Canada – April 2, 2014 – Explorance, the leading provider of Learning Experience Management (LEM) solutions, announces today the opening of a new office in Brisbane, Australia to strengthen its presence within the Asia-Pacific region. The new office will provide consulting services, first level support and local account management.

During the last year, Explorance has responded to rapidly growing demand in the Australasia market. “Just in Australia, Explorance is now serving about 25% of the higher education market,” says Samer Saab, Explorance’s CEO. “We are also seeing increasing demand from other neighbouring countries in the Australasia region.” Unprecedented competition for students and a shifting education paradigm are driving education institutions to continuously assess whether they are meeting stakeholder expectations. In order to effectively assist these organizations with assessment for learning, Explorance is enhancing its local presence.

“The opening of this office is an important step in providing face to face real time service even though Explorance is currently providing continuous support electronically from its headquarters in Montreal,” says Professor Sid Nair from the Centre for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (CATL) at the University of Western Australia. “I welcome this initiative by Explorance and look forward to the number of developments they are progressing to serve the Asia Pacific region.”

The office will be headed by Katrina Green, a former client of Explorance with extensive experience in teaching and learning development. Starting April 7, 2014, Katrina will serve as general manager of the Asia-Pacific office. “With her vast managerial experience in assessment for learning, Katrina is able to understand and address the needs and concerns of prospects and clients alike,” says Samer Saab, Explorance’s CEO. “At James Cook University, Katrina successfully doubled response rates using the Blue LEM solution. We look forward to seeing our clients increase engagement and enhance learning with Katrina’s assistance.” The office will be located in the Central Plaza One in Brisbane, at 345 Queens Street, Office 2136.
