Office of Continuing and Distance Education (Kent State University) Votes for Blue by Explorance

University equipped to leverage data, produce customized reports and respond to growing enrollment

Montreal, Canada – November 21, 2013 – The Office of Continuing and Distance Education (OCDE), at Kent State University, has selected Blue/Evaluations to replace their homegrown system and establish an automated course evaluation process.

OCDE is investing in Blue to meet all of their key system requirements. Blue’s integration with Blackboard Learn™ and Ellucian’s Banner will enable the office to leverage their current data. With Blue, OCDE can migrate historical information and generate a variety of relevant reports (i.e. time-trend analysis). OCDE also requires a scalable solution to accommodate the rise in distance education programs and enrollment.

Kent State University is a leading public research institution with its main campus in Kent, Ohio. The university has eight other campuses in Ohio with over 42,000 students enrolled.
