Lansing Community College Partners with Explorance to Improve Course Evaluation Data and Accuracy

Montreal, Canada – October 8, 2020 – Explorance, a forerunner in feedback gathering and analysis solutions, is pleased to welcome Lansing Community College (LCC) to the Blue family. LCC, one of the largest community colleges in Michigan, has selected the Blue experience management platform to update its course evaluation process.

Focused on streamlining their course evaluation process through a flexible and easy to use tool for faculty and students, LCC chose Blue for its best-in-class automation and robust reporting engine. Through Blue’s native integration with their SIS (Ellucian), LCC can synchronize connection to enrolment data for a smarter evaluation experience. Blue’s integration with the Brightspace LMS will further simplify the course evaluation experience at LCC by embedding Blue forms directly into the portal, helping drive student engagement.

One of the main priorities leading LCC’s decision was improved data and accuracy for faculty. Now with Blue, faculty can easily view and control their course evaluations, including:

  • Tailoring questions to meet their goals
  • Monitoring course evaluation response rates in real-time

Additionally, the Blue Instructor Feedback Dashboard gives instructors an independent analysis tool to explore course evaluation results to discover improvement opportunities. Blue’s text analytics capabilities will also convert common attributes, sentiments, and themes from open-ended student feedback into quantifiable results for more in-depth data insights and accuracy.

Through a partnership with Explorance for their course evaluations, Lansing Community College will now have access to many first-rate services design to help them succeed. Course evaluation administrators at the college will take part in the Blue Expert Certification camp, a guided training experience that will help them get the most out of Blue.
