Montreal, Canada – January 19, 2018 – Following a thorough reassessment and selection process, the University of Saskatchewan (U of S) has selected Blue to power their new Student Experience of Teaching and Learning process.
“We wanted something that was easy to use, something that has a rich and robust reporting structure […], and we wanted it to be efficient and automated to minimize the administrative burden.” Nancy Turner, Director, Teaching and Learning Enhancement, University of Saskatchewan.
After identifying and evaluating several systems as well as discussing with other peer institutions, Blue was considered the best fit. Critical to their decision was Blue’s ability to be modular and flexible. “We wanted something that would allow us to have some consistency with an institutional set of questions but that would also allow colleges and department to select their own questions to fit their local disciplinary and teaching approaches,” Nancy comments in a video outlining the process. “We also wanted it to be customizable so that instructors could select their own set of questions.” Watch the full video to learn more about the selection and transformation process at the University of Saskatchewan.
Founded in 1907, the University of Saskatchewan is a top public research university in Canada. The university offers a wide variety of programs and courses and is ranked one of the top ten in medical doctoral universities in Canada by Maclean’s Guide to Canadian Universities.
